At Kurashi, we’re currently showcasing a good range of Japanese tea from Chaya Suzuwa, a historic tea farmer who has 172 years of history growing and producing quality Japanese green tea in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. During the tasting event, we’ll brew different types of Japanese green tea using the artisanal tea wares handcrafted by popular Japanese artists, because we would like to bring you an experience of using the artists pieces to enjoy a decent cup of tea.
In addition, we are exclusively working with the talented Kyoto wagashi artisan Sayoko Sugiyama from Okashimaru. We'll be introducing you the finest and the most beautiful Kyoto confectioneries to pair with different kinds of Japanese tea. Join us for this unique experience!
